Logo Design

What is a logo?

A logo is a symbol or design representing a brand. The logo can be found on the brand's products, ads, collaborations, and more. It is the face of the brand.

How to create a logo?

A logo should be simple, as the primary goal of it is to be MEMORABLE. The logo should have an impact on customers in order for them to remember it and keep in mind the brand associated with the products or services that might have interested them. It is important to choose the right fonts, colors, and symbols to represent the brand the best way possible. The logo has to have a meaning, and to convey a message such as the brand's values or the brand's objectives. A logo has a direct influence on the customers' choices. Depending on what the logo evokes for customers they will immediately make judgements based on it.

Why is it important to have a logo?

BRAND IDENTITY

The logo is what represents the brand to customers. When they will think about this particular brand, the first thing that will come to their mind is the logo. The logo is the visual form of the brand. It also gives more credibility to the brand. If a logo is well designed, it will impact customers and they will remember it when they will see it again and automatically associate the brand to the product or service. It will also remind them the experience they had with that brand if they had any. In fact, it increases brand recognition. The higher is the brand recognition, the higher is the credibility of the brand.

STAND OUT FROM COMPETITION

By having a logo on your products or services, a brand can differentiate itself from the competition. Customers will recognize the brand's logo among all the other products and services and will potentially give more attention to it. The more customers will recognize and remember your brand, the more credibility and trust will be added to it. Therefore, because of that, they might choose your product or service over another.

FIRST IMPRESSION

The logo will be the first thing in customers' minds when they will think about your brand, so it is important to make a good first impression. The first impression is most of the time determinant for the customer's opinion on a certain brand. That is why a brand has to be careful when choosing its logo and make sure that it represents accurately the values shared by the brand.
